The Rotary Club of Gaborone in the form of President Tony and Rtn Yash flew into Tsabong on Saturday morning and donated 7 wheelchairs. The wheelchairs had been sent down to Serowe by road, earlier in the week.
The majority of the wheelchair were handed over at the clinic. The recipients were mainly children.
From the clinic the party went into the village and handed over a wheelchair outside the recipients hut.

Wheelchair donated at Princess Marina Hospital to Keeletse Selete
Medical books valued at P 12 000 were donated to Princess Marina Hospital. The Books were supplied by a prominent pediatric orthopedic surgeon, Dr Ken Mudge and the Rotary Club of San Bernardino.

Dr Brighid Malone became a Paul Harris Fellow. She received her award from President Tony Rees. Dr Malone was nominated by the Inner Wheel Club of Gaborone for her services to the community and to her contribution to the various medical councils and committees that she is a member of.
Uttum Corea also became a Paul Harris Fellow. He was nominated for his contribution to the accounting profession in Botswana and also his contribution to wildlife conservation and his involved on the many councils and boards that he has served on in the last 30 years that relate to National and business issues.
