President Mike Lakin officiated at his last club meeting as president and the club also had Miss Botswana as the guest speaker. Miss Botswana has been doing a lot of hard work with the children in Botswana in relation to Aids and Aids Awareness.

Rotarians Ernest and his wife, Claude and his wife, Graham and Yash together with the youth exchange student, Freya, met at 0600 and then traveled 440km to Kang in the Kgalagadi region of Southern Botswana to hand out blankets.

A total of 500 blankets plus some toys were distributed to the needy.
