The annual Rotary Golf Day was held at the Gaborone Golf Club. The event was well supported and approximately BWP 25 000.00 was raised for the various charities that the club supports.

The club was visited by the District Governor of District 9250, Chris Pretorius. He presented a Paul Harris award to Rtn Derek Jones and then gave a presentation on the new club structure proposed by Rotary International.

Group Study Exchange Student Oratile Moremong attended the club's luncheon and gave a presentation of her experiences as a member of the team that visited Rotary District 7010.

21 & 22 October 2006

On Saturday 21 October, PP Laurie Bond of the Rotary Club of Bulawayo held a Master PRLS 1 in Gaborone for 12 candidates from the Rotary Clubs of Gaborone and Gaborone Tirelo who had all  participated in Basic PRLS in September.

On Sunday 22 October, PP Laurie Bond and PP Maureen Bond held another Master PRLS 1 for Rotarians who had traveled up from Lobatse. At the same time Rotarians Graham Burt, Nelson Letshwene, Norman Wiles of Gaborone and President Guru Gurumoothi of Gaborone Tirelo conducted at Basic PRLS for candidates from the Rotary Club of Gaborone Tirelo.
