Early in the morning seven Rotarians and wives set out to donated blankets and clothing to children at a village called Papatlo which is located approximately 150 km south of Gaborone and is along the border between Botswana and South Africa.

A wheelchair was donated to a young boy at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mogoditshane during the morning.
Two transferring Rotarians were inducted into the club at the lunchtime meeting. They were Rtn Chipo Gaobatlwe from the Rotary Club of Francistown and Rtn Uli Schmitt from the Rotary Club of Windhoek.

The Induction of Raj Rallan as President for the year 2007 - 2008 took place at the Gaborone Sun Hotel. Out going President, Mike Lakin presented PP Dick Jamieson with a Paul Harris Fellow for all the years that he handled the finances as Treasurer. It is believed that Dick has served as treasurer for a dozen or more presidents.
PP Mike then handed over the chain of office to President Raj Rallan.
